Well, I am anyway and if you have been following along with the last few episodes then you will definitely really want to jump in on this one and work with me. Now, if again just following up because this is good old internet world and this is the podcasting world. And I know that when I look through podcasts, I scan titles and I'm like, oh, that sounds interesting. I'm going to listen to that one. And you know what? You get divinely guided. And to be honest, it's kind of like you kind of always get what you need when you find those titles or trust your intuition.
[0:45] And you might be doing that right now. So you might be joining us in this episode. And this is just one of those beautiful occasions. I'm in flow and things are just kind of coming through and this is all based off a little bit of a run, mini series. You can listen to them separately, but I do again, of course, highly recommend going back and listening to the previous episodes. Now, the most previous episode, as you, if you have listened to it, you would know. Very, very different.
[1:15] So, it is a different one and it's really just helping you. We're going through exercises together. So, that's a very, very deep one. If you have completed and you've managed to work your way through that exercise, then guess what? We're going to do another very similar thing. It's much easier. It's not going to be as deep, but it's going to be a very similar thing because I'm just now going to help you to capitalize and really make the most of the step or the shift. And that's why we're calling this one more of embodying the shift. If you haven't listened to that, that's fine. You'll still get something out of this because this episode is about embodying. And what this is about is really giving you the hints and tips to kind of maximize your ability to really connect and align with the vision or the version of yourself that you see or that you want. And we're going to jump into some things here where it's going to be really helpful. So, it might be another good episode to make sure you have time, you have space. The exercises are nowhere near as long or as deep, but I'm just going to take you through some things And it's just more some prompts to help kind of do it.
[2:34] And this kind of really does back on the thing of a big thing that I love teaching people. I do teach in my retreats. I obviously teach at my workshops and, you know, obviously help people in the online communities with and because it's an integral part. This is a part that I find that a lot of people miss or in general, a lot of people don't know. The great thing is there's a lot more science about this. And what this is about is it's the embodiment. And so this is also very important because it's around like you know whenever you're looking to make a shift or when you feel like things are new whether it's around the new year which is probably the time that this is going to get published so that's why it's also i'm in that energy trying to help anyone who's like right 2025 is here and let's make the most of it's a new year whatever the energy may be but it doesn't matter you could be listening to this you know at some any point but you're going, right, I need this. It's all helpful. Now, it's all about maximizing that embodiment because as you'll know, and I've talked about this in previous episodes, but as you'll know that you have to go further than just simply saying, hey, I want this or hey, I'd like this. That's just not enough. There is no energetic connection or emotional connection to those statements. Therefore, your belief and your belief system around it, weak foundations.
[4:02] And what you'll find is that very quickly, you will lose track, lose faith, and any of those, resolutions or any of those kind of statements that you've been making about what you want for yourself and your future self go out the window very quickly. They get lost. Now, so that's why we talk about like, you know, you can say, well, this is about manifesting. I did do a very big episode, episode 32. So, you can go back and have a look at that. Or literally, I find manifesting like, so yesterday. That's actually the title of that episode. So, episode 32, manifesting is so yesterday. I brief you a lot more about where I believe and see things are at. And the short version of that, in case you haven't got time to go listen to it, is that rather than looking at as manifesting because manifesting is very much a lot of people see it more as a wishy-washy and like, I just want that. And if someone's like wishing for something and then just expecting universe and, you know, the real three-dimensional world to deliver it to you, no. Okay. We know, I think we've all tried that at some point. No. So, what's really important is we take it a step further and this is why I look at it as magnetizing.
[5:20] It's a far more powerful word because it now brings a tangible aspect to moving forward in your life and also looking at how to achieve something that you might be desiring. So, there's a few things. That's why magnetize is a big thing because you actually feel it. And we all know what it's like to hold two magnets and put them together, whether they repel or whether they attract. We all know. We've all done that at school at some point. If you haven't, I don't know what school you were going to or what rock you're living under, but it's pretty easy. You can go and get two fridge magnets and feel it. And that's a good thing because it becomes tangible and it's a big thing. But this helps us to become aware of it because then we are tapping into the deepest part of ourselves and that's what helps bring things in. So, that's what we're going to be looking at. I'm just going to give you a nice
[6:11] little exercise here to show you this. But before we jump into the exercise, I'm just explaining things here for you because, you know, this is helping you to set up and embody and create the best change possible for you, setting yourself up for success rather than setting yourself up for failure.
[6:33] Now, why? Here's the first big question. Why do most people fail when they want to create a change or a shift in their life? Why do most people fail? We'd love you just to answer that in your own mind right now. And it's a great question to kind of ponder. but the biggest reason is it's an actual law law right it's an actual law and the reason why most people end up failing or achieving or getting close to what they desire what they want is because of the law of conformity that's right it's a law of conformity but the easier way to explain that is that it means you are going to succumb to your environment.
[7:29] And when we want to make a shift or when we wish to try and change our direction, more often than not, when we first encounter that, we start thinking about that, we lean into it a little bit, we are going to rely significantly on willpower and willpower alone. And you tell yourself and this is common and look again hand up guilty as charged your honor like you look at the simplest of things like oh i'm going to start better exercise regime i want to start you know create a better lifestyle i want to lose weight you know i want to do something better i want to start a hobby whatever these things are but you say these things and there's a part of you that genuinely wants those things it's not saying you don't want them to happen But what you find is like as much as you want it, it doesn't happen. And that's because in that moment, you're relying on willpower to see you through. Now, willpower is good. It kind of gives us a start. It creates a little bit of momentum. But we'll find that one, two weeks, usually it's around the three-week mark. If we are not enjoying it, if we don't see the results, if we're not kind of living up to what we built up in our mind, guess what?
[8:57] We stop, we lose the momentum, we give up. Now, here's the saddest part is as soon as you give up and as soon as you stop and that willpower is gone because it's like a minimal battery life willpower and when it dies you go right back into old self, old patterns, old beliefs, and what's even worse, you reinforce them, those old patterns and beliefs, and also start to sabotage yourself with disbelief that you cannot achieve what you are wanting or desiring in your life. It is such a sabotage move and we are all guilty of it at some point in our life.
[9:48] So, this is that part, that process, this pathway, if you've ever fallen victim to that, guess what? You have fallen victim to the law of conformity because your surroundings, your environment, whether it's going to be like the physical environment, whether it's house, the outside, the yard, the great outdoors, but more significantly, the people that you're surrounding yourself with, if they are not matching a vibrational level that is required for you and the change that you're trying to create or move into for yourself, it will win.
[10:36] 99% of the time, because that's where you're spending your time. Now, most of us have heard the lovely phrase, remember, it's like, find your tribe. Because if you find your tribe, you're connecting with like-minded people, they have same wavelengths, same beliefs, do the same thing. And when you do, you feel happier, you feel good, you start getting inspired. And should you suffer any kind of like little bit of setback, a little bit of self-doubt, those people in a tribe, they get you, they understand you, they support you, they lift you up. And all of a sudden you have a very more of much better and conducive environment to help keep you going. So, that's why we say you like find your tribe and attract your tribe. Your vibe attracts your tribe and your tribe sends out the vibe. And it's true. So, you need this in your life, and I can guarantee you if you're listening to this and you're feeling this, number one is probably thinking,
[11:32] right, I really don't have a tribe. There's your first clue. You need to figure out a tribe or you need to start putting yourself out there into the world, interacting with different groups or trying things out so you can start to figure out where your tribe might be and start to help change your environment.
[11:53] Very, very big thing. So, that's what you can do to start with to start embody the shift. So, you need something on the external to also help you because that law of conformity, it is a monster to tame. And so, the only way to really start doing that is you got to start looking for it. I know for a fact that this was a huge, huge thing for me over the last couple of years, probably two and a half, because I was pretty much building this, doing the entrepreneurial journey, spiritual journey, entrepreneurial journey, business, family, my goodness, full on, absolutely full on. Things are working, things are good, but I'm like, can I do things better? But when things are not so good or things are getting chaotic, it was just all me in a little bit of a bubble. And so, I needed to reach out and that's why I ended up connecting with a group. Lovely because you're probably hearing a lot of the interviews from them if not they're kind of coming up anyway but they're awesome because guess what when I connected with this group and I connected with people in this group I was like wow and I remember the first time ever I went over to America for a retreat for this I was like these are my people and I remember that feeling so clearly and all of a sudden I felt a weight lifted I felt inspired I felt clear and I was like more.
[13:17] Driven and it was interesting but it wasn't my willpower, It was just natural. It was like it was as if the energy of the people, the energy of the group fueled me. It kind of, their energy seeped into me. And it's as if very naturally, like a process of osmosis, my energy, I absorbed their energy to lift me up, but they're also putting their energy into me to lift me up. And we're creating a space and a space of equilibrium so I could be matching their vibration. I've never forgotten that first day. That was a real highlight for me. And this is what really cemented this aspect and belief of making sure that you are being aware of your environment and the law of conformity. And you feel this difference and that's a big thing.
[14:09] So there's your first step in helping to embody the shift or a change whenever you're looking for it. Always start looking around going, right, who do I have with me on this journey? Who do I have with me as I go through this process? Who is around me? What is around me to ensure that I'm setting myself up for success and setting myself up for like how I wish to turn up in my life?
[14:37] Very, very big thing. So, that's your first step that you can look at here in terms of that. So first note, law of conformity, look at your environment. That's a huge one.
[14:48] Then where it comes to the second one, this is a tool that is very, very powerful, but a lot of people end up missing, like I said, because more often than not, we try to do a lot of these things on our own and we're not fully embodying them. When we're looking for the change or the shift, most of us, it's just in our head going, I want that. I would like that. So, we need to move past this and we need to bring it into a wholesome or holistic approach. And again, set ourself up for success. So, how do we do this? So, for me, I don't ever set like New Year resolutions. Don't do that. I actually don't even set goals. That doesn't interest me either because I find them just an empty. And what's that saying? I'm trying to remember it off the top of my head. But you know a goal without a timeline is just a dream and where do dreams exist in your head, goals are not much better you've put a time limit on it but you're not really going to honor it because there's no attachment to it you know and most of it's like you might go right there's a wedding coming up or there's a big birthday party coming up or maybe i've got a great overseas.
[16:05] Holiday planned out and I was like, right, I've got to drop 10 kilos in the next two months or whatever else. You know, it's like, oh, I need to look really good in my speedos and my budgie smugglers or I need to look really sexy and slimmed down for my bikini, whatever it might be. But we've all fallen victim to those particular scenarios as well. So again, it's not enough. It's like it'd be enough there. That's a short term thing. But then you go off, you do the wedding, you have the holiday, whatever it is. You come back. Guess what? Law of conformity. Boom. You're straight back into where you were. Not enough there to create a shift.
[16:43] So, how do we fix this? Law of conformity, your environment,
[16:47] number one, definitely have a look at that. But number two is the embodiment. Okay, embody. Remember that word. Bring it into the body. When you bring these notions into the body and you can genuinely connect and feel it within the body.
[17:07] And you activate all of your senses, your subconscious lashes onto it and it starts to create it. This is where it's so, so powerful. When you really harness this and you come into this space and you can utilize all of those things, it becomes real. And I know this so well and so much because I know that when I do my work, when I'm connecting on stage or connecting with people and like I'm sensing and feeling things either from spirit, from their past loved ones, or it could be around themselves.
[17:49] I'm literally embodying what they're saying to me. There will be feelings coming through. Now, all of my senses get activated and that's when I get that beautiful feedback I know when I've done this correctly because you more often than not people come up to me or the recipient themselves and say my god that was amazing it was as if you're really bringing them through I felt like I was talking and seeing and feeling them there with you because it was just so them and that's because in a way technically I am they're using my body and all of my senses to convey that feeling, those messages or whatever they wish to pass on. It's powerful stuff. But here's the thing, every single one of you, and if you're listening to this, you can start to do this, but not necessarily having for the channel aspect, but for you in your life and moving forward, it's a beautiful process. And that's the embodiment and activating those senses within the body around it. so.
[18:56] To give you the benefit to help you with this, I'm just going to walk you through a nice little simple exercise. It is a visualization. I find it quite powerful and it's just to highlight the fact that you can do this. I don't know how many times I've done this and a lot of people say, I can't do this. I'm like, yes, you can. Because it's just that you haven't had a lot of practice or there might be a lack of belief around it, or possibly you just haven't had the correct technique or, you know, prompting to get you into that space. So, we're about to jump in to this beautiful little exercise.
[19:34] Like I said, it should only take about five minutes. It shouldn't take much longer than that. But this is a quick warning. So, you can't really do this when you're on the move because you've got to take pause. You're going to need time. You're going to need space. You need to just be able to get centered. So, if you're listening to this walking, jogging, driving, pause.
[19:54] Just pause this and come back to it later. You're going to need the time. So, if you're doing that, I highly recommend just pausing here and come back to this when you need to because what's also important is that you will need to, or I encourage you, you don't need to, but I encourage you to literally write out some of the things that you're going to receive through this little exercise because that again will further cement, and connect and embody what you're going through okay so whenever you're ready just like i said i'd probably have a notepad and paper notepad paper just ready on the side you just need a nice quiet space like i said it's going to be five minutes get yourself ready just do what you need to do, and we're going to go through this together right now.
[20:45] Okay, so finding yourself in a nice, comfortable space where you're free of distractions, making sure that either the kids are taken care of, making sure your animals and fur babies are not in the room with you, just create this space and time for you. Allow yourself this time and space. Allow, just allow yourself to have this moment.
[21:16] And as you, whether you're sitting or you want to listen to this laying down, that's completely fine. And now you're just going to take three deep breaths and we're going to consciously, very consciously exhale. So I want you to do this with me now. First breath in and out. Beautiful. Second one in and out.
[21:40] Nice. And now on this third exhale, I want you to really relax your body, dropping your shoulders, relaxing your hands, your hips, your back, your legs, just relax. So breath in, breathing out and relax the shoulders and drop them and feel heavier. Beautiful. And now that's all you need. You just need to be in this space just relaxed. With your eyes closed, feeling nice and relaxed, just continually nice, beautiful, rhythmic breaths with yourself in your own time. Just bringing yourself to an awareness of your body, allowing the outside world to simply drift. There might be noises, there might be talking you might hear birds, it might be raining it's okay, all of these noises are just going to help you to find your centre they are going to drift away and you're going to come into your beautiful gentle, calm space.
[22:57] Breathing in and out as you do, Beautiful. Well done. And now while you're in this space, I simply want you to visualize yourself on a beat.
[23:14] Beautiful white sand. As you look down, it continues on way off into the horizon in both directions. And all you can see is the beautiful clear blue water, the lapping waves. And the beautiful, long, white, sandy beach. And now, as you're standing here on this beach, you can feel the beautiful warmth of the sun beaming down onto your face, and it makes you relax even further, just feeling the warmth of the sun on your face. And now you can feel a beautiful gentle warm breeze simply caress your skin acknowledging and feeling just that beautiful calmness as it does and as you feel the warm sun on your face and the beautiful gentle warm breeze brushing over your skin along on that breeze comes the smell of salt air. As the ocean releases the salt, it is carried on the wind and you can breathe that salt air in. Beautiful, nice, relaxing.
[24:37] And now I want you to become aware of your feet. And as you are being aware of your feet, you can feel the warmth of the sand beneath your feet.
[24:53] Radiating up through the soles of your feet and up through your legs and up into your knees. You can feel this warmth. and now I want you to just wiggle your toes ever so gently and feel the grains of sand between your toes, knowing what it feels like and feeling that and now I want you to start walking very slowly on the beat and as you do you're feeling the sand underneath your feet you can feel the temperature change with each step you can feel the grains of sand coming between your toes as you put more weight into the sand and now as you approach the edge of the water I want you to put your feet into the beautiful blue ocean and as you do you can feel the temperature of the water caressing and overpowering your feet. Feeling that temperature change and feeling the texture change as it does. And now you can feel the difference in the sand of the wet sand underneath your feet as it touches the floor of the ocean.
[26:22] Being aware of all of this, the warm sun on your face, the cool breeze brushing over your skin, the salt air filling your senses of smell, the beautiful temperature of the water on your feet and the texture of the sand underneath your feet. And lastly, I want you to slowly put your hands into the water. And as you do, you can feel the water and its temperature simply encase all of your hands. And now that your hands are in the water, I want you to gently move them around. And you can hear the subtle splashing of the water as you move it around very gently. You can hear the turning and churning of the water as you move it. And you can feel the small current that you're creating. Over your hands in the water. All of this is happening for you right now.
[27:28] And now as you feel this, you simply feel relaxed. And you simply feel the ocean, the sand, the salt, and the sounds. All of it is just within you. And once you feel this and you're feeling relaxed, you can bring your hands out of the water and now i'm bringing your attention back to your breath, and you're going to become aware of your physical body now taking a deeper breath in and becoming far more aware of your body and letting it out again and feeling the difference in your body as you've come out of this very simple visualization.
[28:14] And now, as you're just kind of bringing yourself to, wiggling your toes, wiggling your hands, making yourself aware, opening your eyes, just bringing yourself, however you feel, just back into this world, back into this beautiful world of ours. And as you do, take a moment and I want you to write down what felt really strong for you in that quick visualization. What did you really feel? Was it the sun on your face? Maybe it was the current of the water washing over your hands or maybe it was the grains of sand or maybe i could really hear the ocean or you know there was the breeze maybe it's all of it that's okay but i would really encourage you right now to just with your notepad and pen.
[28:59] Just literally write down exactly what you could feel what felt strong what did you really connect with and maybe it's like in almost like a scale you can almost give yourself a scale of one to 10, like 10 meaning like I really felt that and one means nope, didn't feel a thing. So, you can make a little bit of a list and kind of just work out and it's just helping you to become self-aware of what you genuinely felt in that. So, once you've done that and you've made your list, you can kind of come back and you can listen to what needs to happen. But as you can see here, that was just a very simple visualization. It's just a little bit of a slight meditation. Some you might go, wow, I felt really relaxed. It doesn't take long. That was less than five minutes. And it's just the simplest part of things. But it's amazing how you could transport yourself to the beach just by following my voice. But what's really important here, and if you want to now, you can actually go back and rewind, go and listen to it again. The simple thing is, what is the biggest word that I used throughout that quick visualization for you? Do you know what it is? The word is feel.
[30:16] Feel, feel, feel. That is the key word that you're looking for because if you're feeling it, you're not in your head. It's your senses. And believe it or not, if you look at that list now that I asked you to write down and say, what was really strong for you? Guess what? You genuinely felt that. Your brain felt it.
[30:33] And if you felt it, Knowing that like me right now in the office, in the studio, I'm not near the beach, but you can feel these things and you genuinely feel like you are there. That is the essence of embodiment.
[30:50] When you know and you start saying to yourself, I really felt that, I'm feeling this, you are embodying what you are visualizing or what you are thinking, what you are wanting. The whole thing is, if you've done this exercise with me, you're going, cool, let's do this. I love setting people up for this because when you activate your senses and you learn to use your senses, not just by physically touching things, but you learn to activate your senses, in your mind, you're going to become so much more receptive to the subtleties and the energies and emotions around you and what you're desiring. And what this does, this is why I just wanted to very quickly walk you through this, is because when you now are starting to look at yourself in the future, and let's just go back, maybe you want that Speedo bod or you want the bikini bod, visualize it.
[31:48] Feel what it's like. Don't worry about losing the weight. It's going to be like, visualize it embody it what does it feel like to be 10 kilos lighter what does it feel like when you're in the speedos or bikini and you know i people might be looking at you do you feel good when they're looking at you you're a head turner like all of a sudden you're a supermodel whatever it may be but you can feel these things you know and it's this is what it's about because you can start to embody the version of yourself that you want.
[32:21] And so, connecting to everything that we've talked about, don't be afraid of these things because the hardest part is so many of us visualize and know the part of ourselves that we want to be. We know where we'd like to be. We just don't embody it and we don't believe it and the law of conformity will win. So, if you can practice this and if you practice that simple visualization on a daily basis Or if you go out into the real world and what you can do, this is a beautiful exercise. This really helped enhance my skills. It was a massive exercise. I didn't realize it was so simple but so powerful. It's when you're walking around the block, around your home and like you're out in the street, look at a wall, for example, a fence wall. I'll never forget this because all of a sudden, I'd look at all the different fences in my neighborhood. And without touching them, but in my mind, I'd look at the wall going, I've got to describe the feeling of that. I was teaching myself to feel what I was looking at, but without actually touching it. But it helped me to embody and start to bring that level and language up from my subconscious. And then all of a sudden, once it's in the conscious, it becomes more powerful. You get to activate it and it can connect with you.
[33:38] So that's the art of embodiment and if the more that you can embody something that you want you're no longer manifesting you are now magnetizing because you are connecting to the vibration and frequency of who you wish to be the version of yourself that you want to be and here's the thing Some of you might go, cool, Pete, I love that, but right now, I don't know the full version of myself that I want to be. If that's you, that's okay. That's actually quite normal. But start small. Start simple. Maybe you're going, hey, how do I want to be on a daily basis? How do I want to wake up every morning?
[34:23] Maybe you're saying, I'm always waking up tired. Well, you don't want to wake up tired. So, now you're going to go, I want to wake up feeling energized. I want to wake up feeling rested. So, you can actually start to embody simple things like that and work on that on a daily basis. And I guarantee you, if you do that long enough, you're going to start to feel that the change, and you may even see the change. So, there are little ways there you can start to make these tweaks and start to embody your shift right now.
[34:57] So, hopefully, you didn't do this exercise walking, jumping, or driving.
[35:02] Because I get into that, it's like, oh, that beach. I love that beach. So, it's very, very relaxing. But I really do hope this has helped you. So start using these basic visualizations, increasing your level of awareness, and visualize yourself and feel yourself at that version of yourself. And guess what? You're going to be able to really start circumnavigating the law of conformity, and you'll start to embody the shift. So don't give up. Don't be afraid. You are the conduit. Make the shift.
